From land
From land you can see seals – with binoculars – from:
- Harbour of Zierikzee
- Viewpoint on the Plompe Toren
- Harbour of Burghsluis
- Coast of Noord-Beveland
- Coast at Wemeldinge
- South coast of Tholen
At low tide they lie on the sandbanks sunbathing. Their favourite places are the Roggenplaat (to the west of the Eastern Scheldt) and the Galgenplaat (to the east of the Zeeland bridge).
